STAR Rehab Referrals is where STAR began. More than ten years ago, the practice started with Emma, a single vet driven by a passion for helping pets move better, recover well, and enjoy a better quality of life through rehabilitation, pain management, and evidence-based care. Those principles continue to guide everything we do today and remain at the heart of our ethos.

As trust in the service grew, so did the team. What began as a small rehabilitation practice evolved into the referral centre it is today, supporting patients from across the region with advanced diagnostics, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary care.

As the practice expanded, our first-opinion and rehabilitation services eventually outgrew their shared space. To continue delivering the high standards of care our patients deserve, the first-opinion team relocated to a new purpose-built veterinary practice, allowing STAR Rehab Referrals to return to its original role as a dedicated rehabilitation and referral facility.

Today, we work from calm, purpose-designed premises built entirely around recovery, movement, and performance. Supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team and ongoing investment in facilities, equipment, and education, we remain committed to the same values that STAR was founded upon: delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care that puts the needs of every patient first.
